We consider other alternative tests for group sequential design:
- Weighted logrank tests such as the Harrington and Fleming (1982) and Magirr and Burman (2019) tests.
- Combination tests such as the MaxCombo test by Lin et al. (2020), Roychoudhury et al. (2021).
We will illustrate the concepts based on an experimental R package:
- gsdmvn: analytically based group sequential design.
Specifically, we will provide theoretical justification and examples for:
- Fixed design based on weighted logrank test and MaxCombo test.
- Group sequential design with weighted logrank test.
- Group sequential design with MaxCombo test.
